• At least one arm of the population treated with a single IA injection of HA, positioned as an analyzed product or as a control.
• WOMAC A result – the only criterion taken into account in this meta-analysis – with at least two measurements taken: one at inclusion (baseline) and the other during follow-up.

A first selection was made after a quick review of titles and abstracts, then full texts were assessed to determine their eligibility. Special care was taken to eliminate duplicate publications at different levels of the search.
